Mr Ellis is a very professional, caring surgeon who always trys to put you at ease. Everything is explained in detail during the whole process. Should I need any other knee surgery in the future, I would always feel comfortable to be in his care.

Mr Ellis is such a gentleman, he is an excellent listener,I am a profoundly deaf patient.
Before my total knee replacement he explained to me his intentions around the procedure.
he was very clear I understood exactly what to expect during the operation, and post-op care including the importance of my recovery by way of flexion and physiotherapy
The post op appointment again a very caring listener very kind and very generous with his time.
I would say that I am more than happy to have met Mr Ellis and to have been treated by him as an NHS exactly as I would have been as a pirate patient at the Alexandra Hospital.

I recently had a total knee replacement under Mr Ellis care. His approach from the outset inspired immediate confidence in me having looked upon the whole process with extreme trepidation beforehand. He showed genuine concern for my uneasiness and did his very best to dismiss my worries. After what I believe was a successful operation both he and his team made regular checks on me. I cannot fault any aspect of the process or the fantastic team that carried it out. And I am eternally grateful.

Both knees have now been operated on by Mr Ellis. I found him very personable and listens to what you have to say. Both ops went well and I would recommend him without hesitation to anybody who is due to have knee replacement surgery.

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent. Simon has a very simple but important mission statement "I give the same quality of care to my patients as I would want my family and friends to receive". Simon prides himself on communication.
